China Trade Exchange (CTE), the next generation of B2B Supply Chain Management solutions, based on RosettaNet Standards for China's $850 Billion Electronics Industry was launched today.

CIECC, DELL Inc., and B-Global Inc., announce collaboration agreement to create China Trade Exchange, the center for nationwide supply chain management network, to help China's manufacturing industries, from electronics and semiconductors to telecommunication sectors, to improve their supply chain efficiency and strengthen China's ability to compete in the global market.

China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC), the country's leading e-commerce network, Dell Inc., a leader in information technology, and B-Global Inc., a leader in RosettaNet supply chain technology, today announced their agreement to set up a China Trade Exchange (CTE) which will facilitate the free flow of orders, forecasts, logistics and financial information between businesses. The China Trade Exchange (CTE) will be based on the proven Trade Engine technology developed by B-Global and currently deployed by Dell and its suppliers. CIECC, Dell and B-Global have agreed to create the China Trade Exchange (CTE) to assist Multi National Companies (MNC) and Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) companies transfer orders, forecasts, logistics and finance information electronically based on the RosettaNet messaging standards.

It is expected that the China Trade Exchange (CTE) will greatly enhance information exchange between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in China's world-leading electronics industry. The China Trade Exchange (CTE) will connect Chinese electronics OEMs with other China-based manufacturers as well as international customers and suppliers, employing RosettaNet and XML standards-based technologies.

Celebrated today at a signing ceremony involving the President of CIECC, Mr. Liu Jun Sheng, Dell (China) President Foo Piao Pang, and B-Global Inc. CEO & President, Matt O'Malley. The strategic partnership will be announced at the Global RosettaNet Conference in Beijing on April 21st, 2005. Senior executives from CIECC, Dell and B-Global are among the featured speakers at the conference.

Based on proven technology from B-Global Inc., the China Trade Exchange (CTE) dramatically reduces the deployment time and cost of RosettaNet implementations. The Trade Engine was pioneered by Dell in Asia and initially focused on optimizing the order, forecast and finance processes. The Trade Engine is now driving all outbound fulfillments to Dell's customers in China and Australia, managing the complex messaging between Dell and its logistics service providers.
